Associate Director, Health System Strengthening
Dr. Agada Godswill is the Associate Director, Health System Strengthening for Centre for Integrated Health Programs (CIHP).
Agada Godswill provides Technical oversight in the newly created Health System Strengthening unit under the State Coordination Department collaborating with the GON and 4 Focused States (Benue, Kaduna ,Kogi and Gombe) to implement strategies aimed at enhancing the overall delivery of quality Health programs for Nigerians.
He worked with International Centre for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs (ICAP-CU) as a Clinical Advisor from 2009 to 2010,rising to the post of State Coordinator, Cross River State in 2010. Upon transition of of ICAP-CU to CIHP, He became the State Program Manager from 2011 to 2013.
Dr Agada also worked with a USAID supported HIV/AIDS program under FHI/GHAIN project between 2007 and 2009 as a Technical officer , Anambra Zonal office where he saw to the expansion of Comprehensive ART services to 13 Secondary Health facilities across the 4 States of Anambra ,Enugu, Imo and Abia in the South East.
He worked for 2 years as a Technical Officer in Republique du Niger under the South-South Health Care delivery programs of the Non Align Movement Countries (G77) where he served in a Regional hospital and a France based Solidarities Et Therapeutic Contre Le SIDA (SOLTHIS) HIV/AIDS program in Niger Republique.
Dr Agada also had a working experience with a private Consultant Hospital in Kaduna between 2002 and 2003 as the sole HIV/AIDS Clinician in the HYGEIA (HMO) ART programs for Staff of selected Companies in Kaduna State and the first Public-Private Partnership Health Facility in Abuja (Garki Hospital).
He holds a MB,BS Degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Masters Degree in Health Management from the Benue State University.
